Hello, can someone please instruct me on how to remove the dash speakers from an 85' Monte LS? I'm assuming they are fastened under the grates, but getting to those two screws looks like its gonna be troubling. I even tried getting underneaththrough the glovebox, but that didn't work.Please help!

 

What your going to need is a phillips bit and a socket that it will fit into mine werent very tight and it still had factory speakers but the small bit and socket fit great also if you need replacements the size of the dash speaker is 3 1/2

 

i too had an 85, and the best thing i used because of the clearance with the windshield was a 1/4 flex extension with a phillips bit with a nut driver. made it much easier to remove.
