Hey, I just got my car the other day, going to post pics soon..But I had a question, does anyone have a guide on removing the stock HU so I can install the line level converter, because I am keeping the stock HU, but installing aftermarket subs. I looked on the net, and there arent any guides that I could find showing how to do it, so any help is appreciated.

 

an 07? it's pretty easy on the 7th gen monte, not nearly as hard as the 6th gen where you have to remove the entire dash >_< I'd say if you look up some other GM youtube videos on how to remove the dash peice, you'll figure it out. I'm not even sure if their are screws, i think it might snap in.

 

I know that a lot of people run their line level converters right off of the rear speaker terminals. Just use a wire tap.
