Default 2006 & 2007 Projector lights problem

I installed my projector lights from Revotec on my 2006 Monte Carlo this afternoon and took it out driving tonight to see how they looked. I immediately noticed a prominent dark spot in my field of vision on the drivers side where I think light should be. When I turned on the brights, the light was excellent, of course; but the normal driving lights on the drivers side felt unsafe to the point that I slowed way down when another car approached. Seems like the lights are not aimed high enough and I cant see as far ahead as I could with the original lights.

Has anyone else with these lights had this problem? Is there a way to adjust the lights so that the dark spot is eliminated? I love the way the lights look on the car during the day, but driving at night with them, I just dont feel safe.

Thanks for any help,
Mike

Great post, I never knew there could be a problem like this with these new headlights, I would say that if you added and HID Kit since they are brighter and last longer that they would be better to use. they will elimanate the need for brights when driving on regular roads at night and you will feel safer. You can get a nice Hid kit that is bright white to work better for you.

Mine were aimed low. There should be a grey bolt looking deal on top of the lights you can adjust. I aimed mine higher and they look great, had to use a socket so that I could get a decent grip on the adjuster though. If you need I have a picture I can point it out in.

Thanks for the replies guys. Once I calmed down, I took a look at the lights and decided to try aiming them myself. I think I have them just about right; trial and error method...lol! Thanks again guys, these lights are nice.
