Default 2005 Rear speakers

One of the speakers is rattling and i want to replace it.

Im not sure what type I should replace it with that will be plug and play and not cause harm to the factory amp.

Ive read many people throwing anything in not at right OHMs and amp dies and they lose their sounds in car.

I know the 6x9s in the rear are pure bass and nothing else and im not sure where to buy replacements that will work there

There is no reason to spend a whole lot of money on rear speakers, they are only there for fill. FWIW I have been running 4 Ohm speakers all around and aftermarket head unit for 4 years with absolutely no problem with the amp.

Here is the set I run in the rear

this is true but stock systems are tuned more for all around sound, only the newer cars now are really just starting to focus on the front stage properly.

I suggest some JBL or infinity 6x9 2 ohm speakers. very affordable, and harmin group is always a winner. i found infinity tends to make things a little brighter, so the JBL's would be my choice.

JBL P963 6" x 9" 3-way Power Series Speakers - Sonic Electronix

like those.

i would check price around the web, genraly can be found cheaper than sonic for that partticular set.

before you buy though just open your trunk and peak your head under those old speakers make sure you have 2 ohm's, ive heard of 6th gen's having both 2 and 4 ohm setups depending on the package and year.
