There is such an opportunity for weight reduction there!!! =D Kinda misses the point though of a loud stereo.

Are you trying to do this:
Not quite though given the required specifications of the subwoofer being used will require that i need additional info to the dimensions.

I wish i could find a better picture of the trunk interior so I could define the additional dimension I need.

Could someone here provide a picture that shows the interior trunk, it would be helpful.

BTW, in that picture, the person made a big car audio no-no. You never use different subwoofers in the same install as this will cause bass frequency cancellation issues.

I concur. You never use different size subs, or even same size different brand. You want to stay uniform with Subs, as that will allow them to respond to received frequencies on the same level.

I keep getting this bad taste in my mouth looking at those pics as I'm an Alpine fan.

Being an elctronic technician most of my life, I can say this, almost all radios, computers, tv's, microwaves, irons, etc, etc, etc, are made in the same 3-6 Chinese factories.

Kennwod is made in the same factory that Alpine and Blaupunkt are made.

They just pay for 'private label licensing' is all.
