Exclamation 2000 Monte Carlo power wire for aftermarket stereo.

I have everything hooked up works great. My constant power is working but I accidentally hooked up the switched power wire to my dimmers. And everywhere I look they say it should be a yellow wire for switched power. But I only have one yellow and that's for the rear negative speaker and I have two orange wires. I'm slightly confused. I even bought a Haynes manual to help me out but it says the same. So any help would be great. Is it cause the car was made in Canada and they don't know the difference between orange and yellow??? Please help thank u.
