1997 LS instrument bezel removal

RE: 1997 LS instrument bezel removal
ok well you need to remove the panel under the steering wheel (two screws)
next you need to pull the dash trim piece out from around the sterio ...ect
to get it completely out, (it will be hung up on that left pocket) you will need to tilt the wheel all the way down and hold the lever in and at the same time move the trim piece back and up... almost like if you were putting that pocket into the AC vent
once that is out of the way, you will have a clear shot to the cluster. there is one bolt per side holding it in. once those are out it will tilt forward a little then you can lift up to clear the little legs at the bottom. now just pull out! and you'll have it in your lap. when putting it back in, remember feet first.
the bulbs are normal 194's for the regular lights and a smaller bulb for some of the indicator/dummy lights. they pull out of those twisty clips.
my page has pics of a cluster removed, for when i changed over to LED's in it. the pics should help you some. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/473859/6
hope that helps
