Can anyone tell me what all i need for the install on an 04 monte with on star. Im talking wiring, i know i need the head unit lol. Just curious i heard it was expensive with all the hookups. thanks guys

 

im actually replacing my head unit right now too, its a pain in the ***!! ive never done this before but i have basic knowledge and know how. you will need a wire harness and all the materials to get that set up

 

Look in your trunk, do you have a silver amplifier between the 6x9's? It will be mounted in the rear deck. If you do not you will need Metra's GMOS-01, if you do you will need Metra's GMOS-04 harness, Metra's 99-2003 kit, and Metra's GM-10 antenna adapter. If you want to keep steering wheel controls, you will also need Metra's ASWC. Let me know if you need more info.
