01 Monte Factory Radio Cuts Out
My factory radio was cutting out on the FM and AM bands and the cd player would distort every now and then. This problem started to get worse so I replace it with a used radio (same type from a Monte Carlo) had a local Chevy dealership unlock it for me, but I'm still having the same problem. I should mention when it cuts out, I still have power to the unit. The time, station frequncy and rds still displays. Could this be a power amp problem? Has anyone else had this type of problem?
