01' Dash Badges
#12
Possibly, I just don't see why no company hasn't done this idea yet, I mean yeah I love the whole badge on the dash idea but come on, theres nothing on the interior of my car that indicates its an SS other than the fully loaded options..

there must be some way to modifiy a badge like Zjerry's.... merge your old badge (monte carlo script) to the SS portion of a badge like Jerry's (cutting out the portion prior to the SS)

I suppose you could try cusom fabricating one... It might not be easy due to the size of the lettering, but you could give it a whirl.... Youmay be able to find other places you could stick some SS badging on the interior.... In my case, I have door sills that read "Monte Carlo SS".

i for some reason thought the SS's had SS on there.... guess i was wrong... i've got a 3rd gen and a 6th gen just plain old MC dash emblem
cool thing is the 6th gen is actually like tin over the plastic

Plus I think the only other one they used on the 6th Gens (aside from "Monte Carlo" and "Supercharged SS") was "Pace Car".
From the "6th Gen Options Thread: Pace Car Editions" Thread on MC Forum:
But like the others were saying, something custom could be made..

The signature series 6th gens got different dash badges also. Pictured is the Dale Jr edition. But the Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart editions got similar. And I think the Intimidator edition got one with the word "Intimidator" on it.
I would try getting some vynil label stock. I think Avery makes some. And simply photoshop your own custom design and print it out on the vynil. Cut it out and stick it in the stock location.
