I see you guys customizing the dashes in your cars all the time.

How does the upper part of the dash pad come loose from the sub structure?

I need to replace the ignition switch in a 2003 Pace car. In hopes this will cure the passlock system woes.

I can get the lower parts of the dash apart on the drive side. But it looks like the pad needs to come loose around the climate controls and stereo to get the ingition switch.

 

You mean the front of the dash? Theres srewes at the bottom under the steering wheel, one in the glove box & one on the fuse cover side, put tge steering wheel all the way down, pop the ign cover off turn the key on put it in nutral & pull it off by working your way around
