Default ZZP vs 3800 Performance?

Plan on replacing my stock downpipe with a new one to eliminate the u-bend. I'malso going to remove the resonator. What (Other than the price) is the difference between the two (ZZP,3800 Performance).

I had a zzp for over a year, no leaks, gave a good seat in the pants power gain.

which one are you looking at from 3800 P.

IMHO the random technology one from 3800 p.is overpriced and thats the one i have.

I would say go with the ZZp because i have never heard a bad thing about any of their products and also it is alot cheaper

I bought a ZZP 3" stainless bolt-on with hi-flow cat and just had it installed about a half hour ago. WoW, night and day difference. It sounds great, nice deep sound but not real loud, definatley noticeable though. Noticeable increase in acceleration and throttle response for sure. I really wasn't expecting it to be this great.

Good info I'm looking forward to doing the same.

Let me know if your car throws a P0420 code. I've heard it could happen.

I have the ZZP 3" stainless downpipe w Magnaflow high flow cat. Wonderful mod! They make most everything inhouse.
Yes, my system throws a P0420 code. I need to call them anyways Monday, and I will ask if an O2 sensor extension will help this problem.

Come on, Alex, why do you tease us? No pics or vids?

Sounds like a nice mod, glad you like it.

ZZP downpipe is the way to go. If you throw a P0420 code, just get a code scanner and remove it.

Sorry, no video camera and I'd probly get hounded for posting a pic of my car right now, it's completely white from the road salts. I've been driving it to and from work all week and this weekend I drove up to Cleveland (2 hours both ways) to see my Cavs get destroyed by the nuggets and it did not throw any codes. Could be because it's so cold out though.
