Default wizaird intake construction update

just thought id throw a few pics up of my new project. i realllllly didnt want to spend $200+ on a CAI. i like the way that the wizaired from zzp is constructed and all of the reviews i have seen have said nothing but good things. so i decided to build mine. thanks to a few detailed pictures posted by ramairetransam, i now have exact dimensions and i cut all the plexiglass tonight. so i decided to mock it up and throw up some pics. let me know what ya think

thats looks great as far as size and shape, it looks just like the other airbox. can i ask why you went plexiglass and if your know if it will melt?

my aluminum one gets pretty hot during the summer.

that was my mistake.... i keep referring to it as plexi. its heat resistant polycarbonate. i plan on insulating it too. just not sure what material to use yet
