Default Winter Project 2: FWI

In conjunction with my other winter project of a battery relocation, I'm improving my FWI. Credit goes to those who have already done this type

I got one of these from Lowes.

Trimmed it down to fit.

Mock up with the PVC tubing.

Completed intake. I'd like to paint it black, but that will have to wait until summer.

I also need to clean up that battery tray with some sort of rust converter. But that will also have to wait until summer when it's warm.

Not too much more to this project lol.. Once I have my battery in the trunk I can bolt this thing up. Finished pictures soon

Turned out nice! I considered a FWI but then I bought a 10in filter so that would be kind of hard to fit into there. lol

Haha yeah that wouldn't work so good. You can see I had to get a pretty small filter. It's the smallest cone filter I could find. Spectre makes it. I needed a small one because the room in the fender on my car is pretty minimal

Looks good, pretty cool that the roof flange works so well like that.

Is yours one of the oiled ones or is it the dry one?
