will my centerbolt 305 quadrajet intake fit a 91 tbi 350?
Hi, I'm new to this forum. I bought an 87 monte LS, it has the stock 305 but im getting ready to install a 350 tbi motor out of a 91 Silverado. Being an 87 model it has the centerbolt valve covers so I figured my quadrajet intake from the 305 would fit in place of the tbi intake on the 350. I've read you can use the tbi but you'd want to use a 4.3 v6 car since they were tbi and they have the fuel pump in the tank and gas lines not to mention the wiring for the fuel injection and sensors, etc. That being said has anyone did this swap before and will the quadrajet intake work? I've changed the tranny from a 200-4R to a TH350 and put 3.73 rear gears in it. I'm not looking for insane horsepower or anything I got this motor for free so I'd like to make it work. If anybody else on here has did the same swap I'd greatly appreciate any and all advice. Thanks in advance!

You're almost better to get an aftermarket intake used rather than use the stock 305 intake. I personally got an edelbrock victor jr off craigslist for 60$ with nothing wrong witih it. feel free to pm me with any other tech questions

Check the casting on the 350 heads, if they are vortec heads get an intake that will accept your qjet and bolt to the vortec heads,

Well, I pulled the tbi intake off my 350 and the carbed intake off my 305 fit like it came factory that way. I just rebuilt a 600 holley vac secondary carb for it. I milled the choke tower and put .110 needle and seat with #70 jets. I am getting ready to buy a lunati cam off ebay so I'm hoping to get the 350 in my car before summer. Thanks for the replies I appreciate it.
