Welcome to the V6.
Great aftermarket, you can really push these 3800s to do some crazy things. But sounding great is never easy. I'd recommend just going to youtube and checking out some videos of exhaust clips.
Personally I like the GM performance parts exhaust (unadvertised magnaflow) but a lot of members are happy with just swapping the mufflers for flowmasters and getting nice tips. But anything louder on these V6s will sound raspy.

First off, being realistic, your car will never sound like a V8 car from a movie.
It would be like saying you want your 1.6L DOHC Honda to sound like a 8.0L Viper V10- sure you can get the volume level the same, but its going to be a totally different tone and pitch.
If your goal is just to make your car louder and/or to mildly change the tone, thats defintiely possible- I agree with going on youtube or streetfire.net and looking at vid's of other cars. Keep in mind that not only the montes came with the 3800- Impalas, Grand Prix's, Bonnevilles, some Buicks, etc came with the 3800 also- so that will help you expand your search.
From my experience, all you're gonna get on a forum are people's biased opinion on what sounds good to them (or what they personally have)- not everyone thinks the same thing sounds good (not saying anyone here is wrong, just that everyone has a different opinion on what sounds good), so its really better for you to listen to different combinations yourself to help you decide what actually sounds good to you.
