See you did do the water methanol, smart move when your going to where your going with the power. I like!! CoolingMist is the brand I run too, they are just so state of the art. Wise choice, wish I had the newer version like you have you dog!

Best of luck in getting your Monte back together, if any one can do it I don't doubt you can, going to be an awesome build

Matt ended up fabricating a brace for the tranny filter as with the pan extension on Sam's Monte it would pop out of the tube insert point and would lose line pressure or something like that. So with Sam's and mine he fabricated a brace using existing holes inside the pan to keep the filter in it's place under extreme levels power.

NICE!!! Very nice!!!
thanks man, i cant wait to get it all installed and then come after you

i will be looking at the filter and if i need to make a brace i will do that. thanks for the heads up!

I believe if I understood Matt correctly, the additional clearance from the pan that your new pan extension gives the filter housing, permits it to flex enough from extreme fluid pressures to actually pop the filter neck out of it's insertion point. Thus resulting in a loss in fluid pressure. I believe he said he told Kevin about this issue too, who found the information interesting and liked Matt's solution. Maybe you can bounce this off of him for clarification.

Your going to have an awesome build John, Best of luck, sometimes only quality parts will suffice...

Ha ha there Dave, the school of hard knocks isn't good for anything except a good ol fashioned butt kicking. No rehab there, makes one want to turn to a stiff drink every night.
So therefore I think you have relapsed and are in denial... Ha ha ha

John is the Scarface on the MCF, big bucks lavished on his Turbo Monte's habit of always needing a fix in the way of more and more parts. It's Frankencarlo...
