How long have you had your rockers in? Notice anything with them?

As far as the tranny, I also have read some horror stories, but hey, more than likely the internals will break before the input shaft that might cause some damage....

I think its quite funny that we have a personal convo on a post...

Eh, oh well...

Yeah, the rockers bumped the hp a bit and helped all around. Oddly didn't do a thing for KR. I was really hoping it would lower it.

Oh well, that is what the Tuner will help with. I started just glancing at the options and it's like looking at Visual Basic for the first time. "Here's the options, have fun."

I see hours of studying ahead....

Yah, I figure the DHP, once I get it, will be a pain to learn, but a blessing once I do...

How hard was the RR install from SLP? Did you have to pull the blower and LIM?

I'm actually glad I got the hp tuners one. I was able to use the graphing and get a clue as to how everything correlated. Probably will save me 20 hours of tuning right there.

For the Rockers it was about 6 hours. Would have been much less, but I was taking time, answering the phone, and didn't realize that the lower alternator support had coolant lines - had to clean that up before the dogs liked it up.

Ohh and didn't need to touch the LIM. Did need to take all the electrical off regarding the fuel injectors, but they are quick snap plugs and was real easy. The wiring harness fell right back into place for easy reconnect.

It was the damn SLP headers that sucked. =P

And the rockers, you only had to pull the valve covers? Or was it the Blower and lines and such also?

Aww crap, sorry, posted after you're post on accident.

Awesome. I don't want to have to pull everything just to put the RR's in...

Thanks so much Dan!

I bet my TOG's will be just as hard to install though...

Those TOG's will be a snap to install compared to the SLP setup that needed some "coaxing".

Yeah, you need to take the valve covers off to do the rockers - which by itself is incredibly easy too do on the Monte compared to the putzing with my old Camaro. But you also need to take off pretty much the whole passenger side of the engine to get the valve covers off as GM mounted a ton of stuff in the way.

Very good mod though...

Blower had complete clearance.
