Doubt if I would make a career out of it, but it would be fun to do on the side.

 

I know a lot of men that are making 6 figures a year from it in Pittsburgh, but I dont have the population to do that in my area

 

God, six figures for changing CD's is rediculous. Yeah, I'm oversimplifying it but really that is all it is compared to other jobs with those digits.

 

Well, my buddy also manage 14 other DJ's under them, not to mention nightclub megamixes for the radio, and he personally does weddings and bar/bat mitzvahs 3 times a week. He also owns and operates a DJ hangout spot that we all go to when we learn how to remix and such...

 

This wait is killing me! Gen V should be here tomorrow. Can't wait to start polishing it.

 

Yah, you're just lucky you're home first, cause if I was home I'D me buying the Gen V and polishing it...

You'll have to let me know how much of an improvement it is

 

Gonna be awhile before I can get it on. First is going to be the polishing, but it is about a 12 hour job from what I've been reading when you are taking your time. Well that's me. I am extreamly carefull when I mod as I hate having problems due to dumb moves.

Big key Ed Morad clued me in on was to be carfull with radiator fluid. 2 teaspoons can destroy the bearing in the engine over time. (about 500 miles). When I swap the Gen V I should drain the coolant a bit and try to mop up as much coolant as possible. Drain the oil and put synthetic in. Synthetic oil bonds to coolant and will pull it out of the car, so run it for about 20 min and then redrain the engine and put your normal oil in. Conventional oil doesn't bond to coolant so it doesn't do squat.

Well I'm going to be very **** about this to make sure I'm not that guy with the blown (in a bad way) engine.

Ported body?? Are you talking about Throttle Body, LIM, Port/Polish of blower?
