Default TOG Headers....

So at the end of this month, the TOG headers will be mine...

But I am torn between the silver ceramic coating, or just the standard satin coating...

They SAY the Silver coating will stay shiny, and won't burn off, but I am skeptical...

Anyone have an experience with the Shiny Coating versus the Non?

Thanks in advance to all who respond!

No experiance, but my SLP's haven't discolored so I'm pretty sure the upgraded TOG's will be the best. I've heard that they do keep the chrome look longer, but I've personally never witnessed it.

Well, guess what Dan? Rob only has the shiny kind, so it looks like I'm about to find out if its any decent...

I hate to spend an extra 130 bucks just because its all he is going to carry anymore...

Oh well, worth it if I plan on dropping that pulley this fall...

Just bought the TOG's. Guess I'll see first hand how the shinyness lasts...

I don't think you will regret them. I'm still upset with my SLP's with all the hassle there was but they work very well now. Thing should only retail for $400 instead of $700 with the work to install the suckers.

Well, I have heard great things about them, so I HOPE they go in as easily and do as well as they say they do...

NOW comes the hard question, next month Is the catback system, and I am sooo torn between the different exhaust systems..

I KNOW once I get the TOG's, the highflow cat and ubend delete, that it will be so much louder... ESPECIALLY after I remove the resonator with the cat back system.. I am just worried that It will sound almost like a ricer and not much like a v6 muscle...

The TOG's are pretty easy to install and work great.

How many mods are you going to be installing when you get back?

Well, Immediately off the bat:

TOG's
Hiflow cat and ubend delete
more than likely SLP PowerFlow

Then Once I install my Aeroforce Scanner, I am going to drop to a 3.3 pulley (Why 3.3? Because I know someone that did it with my exact upgrades, with NO KR
TR6 Plugs...
PRJ Wires..
Fuel Pump Hotwire Kit..
and Poly Mounts

THEN in December..

My Programmer, and a few good tunes

Once I unlock alot of the power, I'm gonna work on taking my heads to Extrude Hone. They Can Port, Polish, and completely revamp my headers and increase flow by 20-26 percent for 800 bucks. Not a bad deal, I suppose

Sorry to waste so much space Dan!

I thoroughly enjoy thinking about making my car as good as yours!

I would hold off on the pulley drop until you get the programmer. Do all the other stuff, but I can't stress enough not to do the pulley drop until you scan. My car is a great example, I have the 3.4 pulley and will all my mods I'm pulling 4* of KR yet. Scanner thankfully is in the mail.

Rephrase that, HP Tuner is in the mail.

Also I found out since it is an old one, I get a discount on the Pro Upgrade. Normally it's 249 for the upgrade if you have a standard tuner, but since mine is serial it only costs 199.

Total cost of Protuner normally 649, Mine will be $559 after shipping.
