Thanks for the tip. Those anti-foulers are only a couple of bucks so I'll probably just put one on it from the get go and be done with it. I don't know if I could get away with having the sensor deleted from the PCM or not. From what I understand about the smog check around here they look to see that all the sensors have run their self-diagnosis, and if one comes back that hasn't run you fail the test. The anti-fouler trick is cheap and a lot less hassle.

The PCM doesn't even know the code anymore, so it will NEVER return on that scan.
