Default Throttle body question

I found a good deal on a new ported throttle body for my l67 dale jr and was wondering if anyone has some input on these. It's only $100 brand new but is it worth that? Any opinions and input would be great! I have the basic 300hp mods( 1.9 rockers, plog and downpipe, intake, etc)

My first question is what was ported and who did the porting? Any links or pics?

I have not ported the inlet on two different L67 throttle bodies for use on an L36 car. But I never touched the "throat" of it (where the throttle plate it).

Some of the L67 powered guys who need a bigger throttle body often turn to a N* switch over.

Seems like an easy $100 to throw at it. Its an easy install. I have one installed. It may have helped, I dunno. It didn't hurt anything. What's $100 to mod crazies like us?

For that price, I'd throw it on.

4? Bolts (maybe only 3, been a while) and it pops right off. Put a new gasket on while you change it.

Oh also, you need a Security Torx T-20 to remove the sensors on the TB.

Not everyone has one of those in their tool kit.
