Default Swiss Guy need more Sound!!!

HY Guys!

Now my 96 Monte Carlo LS is totally stock.
But it does have the Exhaust System of the Z34, so I have 2 Mufflers in the back and the resonator in the middle.

Now thats way too silent for me!!!

If I Delete the middle Resonator will it be louder?

Which is the best way to get some muscle sound without beeing to loud?

Thanks Guys!

Please do not remove the resonator all together jus hav a shorter one put on it will make it louder with out giving you the drone at cursing speeds I have a 14" compared to the stock 24 " and it sounds louder with out sounding to loud.

So that means the "main" sound killer is the resonator and not the mufflers?

Which kind of shorter resonator should i take? Cherrybomb?

So with a shorter resonator and the stock mufflers my baby will sound better?

they both would help you get what your going for .
I like the dynomax, flow master ,Borla mufflers for the low rumble
the resonator being shorter will make it louder (cherry bomb is a good brand )
it will sound louder with a shorter resonator with the stock muffler but the low end rumble sound comes from the mufflers

i cant decide what i want to do with my exhaust at first i wanted to delete my resonator and put in straight pipe and get thrush mufflers.

everyone says deleting the resonator completely is a bad idea because of the drone. i dont mind a little drone but not to the point where i have to raise my voice for anyone in the car to hear me. i just want to know the best way to get more of a muscle car sound without too much drone.

in a lot of the threads ive read many people say changing the resonator doesnt do much. do you actually have the 14" resonator and can say from experience that it sounds good? i wish their were better videos on you tube to hear exhaust everyone just puts the camera on the ground in front of their exhaust which tells you nothing about how loud it is cause the camera is right in front of them which distorts the sound and all that.

also i while back their was a hole in my exhaust just before the resonator and the sound was much louder then but it just sounded like a broken exhaust. i dont want it to just sound like my exhaust is messed up.

I think ill do the Resonator delete and check how it sounds! If the drone is to much for me ill just put a 14" cherry pump in place of the stock resonator and replace the mufflers.

I'll keep you updated, deleting the resonator this week.
