I know that mine isn't a complete straight pipe, but I have no cat and no res, only a couple of flowmaster knock-off's. Here's what that sounded like when my Monte was NA: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUiTG0YT4i8

I can't listen to your videos right now because my speakers aren't working but I was wondering, what did you do with the rear 02 sensor?

Btw, your rims look awesome! That's the first time that I actually liked that style rims.

that sounds good but its hard to hear the exhaust properly from infront of the car. what did you have done when it was n/a to put it at 222?
the DS 02 i just disconnected at the clip and its still in the cat on my porch.

I guess the easiest way to describe the exhaust sound of my Monte is that it's loud and only sounds good at idle, lol. It's very raspy when you go over 2k rpm, and a lot of people don't like it. I could care less, it's my car and they have no idea what I've done to it.

When it was NA there was a lot of stuff done to it to make it put down 222whp including p&p heads, GT1 cam, higher compression with a bunch of other mods.

So does your check engine light come on at all since you disconnected the sensor or does the car run different now?

most of my cars ive ran with no exhaust. loud as hell. i liked it but others didnt. this one had a crappy no exhaust sound sd i wanted to clean it up allitle.

i have a CEL but the car drives the same. all my cars have had CEL's. once you start modifiying and removing unwanted parts, on comes the light

Couple suggestions here for you. First, you say you just unplugged the o2? You need to plug that up with somthing or it will get all nasty inside the plug thats left on there and throw some goofy codes, ones which dont even exist on our cars. The second one is, get a tuned PCM to get rid of the code you have now and you wont have the CEL.
I say that about the plug getting dirty cause it happend to me before I just cut off the sensor and didnt know there was a pllug right there, all my wires got dirty and rusty (well a couple got rusted) and like I said, threw codes that dont even exist on my car... Weird huh?
And one more suggestion... Aheeemmm... *resonated tips* LOL Ill quit saying it now

i just put silicone lube goo stuff on the connector so it keeps the water and ish out.
my pipes are still about 12 inches short of the bumper so when i do decide to bring it ouut to the end i may try that.
the sound of the trush is going to change once it "breaks in"

I removed cat, resonator, and u bend on 3800, but left stock mufflers. Sounds grrrrrrrrrrrreat.
