I had one on my 05 for a short time and it was OK. I sold it and bought a wizaired which performed better.

I notice a lot of you guys co sign on Wizaired....are they really that good??....I figured SLP would be pretty good since theyve being doing GM performance for quite sometime....but i will absolutely be looking into the Wizaired before i make a purchase...

I have an SLP on my car, honestly for a N/A Monte it makes noise, sounds like a 4 barrel when you get on it, I don't really expect HP or MPG gains for the price I don't think it's a bad deal, bought mine from SLP direct awhile back, they had a sale with free shipping so I paid MUCH less then the "better" kits. One plus to me is it looks very stock, doesn't have an aftermarket apperance to it at all . One dislike is that it only draws air from the side the front is where you put the PCM, if you work something out to move the PCM and open the front of the box it would certainly flow better.

Would I buy it again... not sure, if I didn't I wouldn't buy anything to be honest, don't see on a 100% stock car where the cost equals any improvement, but it does sound cool when you get on it! So take that for what it's worth. If your expecting great jumps in hp & mileage no CAI is going to deliver... in my opinion

Nah, really just a replacement for the air box, uses the same tube to the TB.

Just bought a Spectra CAI for my truck, now THAT'S just a tube with a cone filter. And it HOWLS too!
