7th Gen ('06-'07): Res delete.7th gen ss
Not sure if i remove the cat, will it go against my state emissions lol. Trying to keep it "Semi legal", as long as I can pass the test, they can stuff it tbh. As long as it doesnt sound like a crappy import, and it gets deeper, much more like a cold start, im all down for it. What about removing both? Have you tried straight pipe?
Oh you V8's. Your so sexy sounding already. Straight pipe on your car will be loud AF. I you want to take the mufflers off get a nice glasspack in place of the res maybe. Pretty much though anything you do is gonna get it louder but straigth pipe gonna add some rasp always.

the beginning, 1:25ish, and 2:20 are probably the best examples on this one.

The BEST sound is of the Geese best from 0:36 to 0:52!
after you drove off in the distance!
I would like to hear the 2nd vid with the Hogan downpipe while your doing a drive by.

I added thrush turbo muffs out the back with tips on my 38 and it added a little growl to it. I had to replace the res with a oem walker to pass inspection cause the old one had rust holes around the pinch welds, spend $150+ for part and install on the res so im hesitant about doing a res delete cause I would end up wasting all that money but I plan on doing a straight test pipe where the res is in the near future to see if it adds any more growl to it.
Sound change noticable or not? lol, I got quoted 75 to remove mine...Anyone in illinois that would like to remove it for me? ^_^ lmao.
That sounds high. Mine was $30 to remove.
