Default question about stock duals

hey guys. i have an 05 LS and i have always wanted duals for it. i just cant stand the way they on a v6 though. so i was wondering can i put the stock duals from a 3800 on my LS? would there be any ill effects? what part to what part would i need to cut off from because i plan on getting from a pull a part junk yard. thanks in advance.

thanks 04monte. do you think i could also go to an exhaust shop and tell them to just add a y pipe instead of going to a junk yard? or is that my only option?

You shouldnt need to cut anything, just unbolt the catback from the SS and bolt it in place of your LS catback.

if you cut the pipe from a j/y you are going to have a hard time getting a shop to weld it in. best bet is to just have a shop do it... or for a few bucks more get a full cat back system from SLP or GMPP, do it yourself and have a better performer.
