ported exaust manifold

Default ported exaust manifold

frim 3800performance.com im looking at the ported exaust manifold but will i c a significant difference if i just go headers and do you feel a differnece frim the ported manifolds and doest the car sound nicer.

Some people say if you get headers on our cars you loose low end torque because are cars are not pushing enough power to really need headers. so i would say that ported exhaust manifolds would be better. Also you might want to look at www.ZZperformance.com in their grand prix section. Alot of the people get the powerlog from them because it seems to be better. I myself have the powerlog and am very happy with the way that it looks and it also made my exhaust tone a little deeper than before.

I think I just answered this on another post of yours, but I would skip the headers and get a powerlog from ZZP.

plog ftw!

Probably will see less peak whp gain than a set of S&S headers (or any headers for that matter), but you'll keep the powerband a bit lower too. Its a tradeoff.
