oh yes i know it isn't for my car. i was just curious as to what actually causes the code. being a gearhead, i'm interested in the workings of all vehicles, especially montes of any vintage

Your computer in your car gets SOOO used to the restrictions, that when it finally starts to suddenly read more air flow it thinks something is broken.
