iv been on some forums asking wat i can do to get a little more power here and there one guy said to make my down pipe bigger and remove the u bend i know where the u bend is where and wat is the down pipe? i appreciate any help guys

The downpipe comes off the rear exhaust manifold and bends into the pipe that leads to the cat converter and rear exhaust.
