Hi All,
Just put new Magnaflows on my car. It sounds really sweet, and the muffler shop told me it would sound better after a couple of days of breaking in. Hope to post a clip once I get and put on the K&N cold air intake. My wife also has started to call her Roxanne, after I told her a car that nice needs a name, LOL.

hey, looks good just gotta wait for a clip

and it takes a couple months to get the complete broke in sound of a muffler...but magnaflow's dont change as much as some of the others.....lookin forward to hearin it

Just an odd practical standpoint, why would you chrome mufflers? It's not like people look at them?

Actually, they don't look chrome to me, maybe polished stainless. Looks like a real nice setup, though. I am salivating over your sound clip already. Please post soon!!!!!!!!!!

 

The mufflers are polished stainless with 7" stainless tips. You can see the mufflers from behind the car (see pic), which is usually the last thing people see of it!!!

Oh that looks so sweet! I am so jealous!! LOL I had to run out and look at the rear of my car to see the difference. And oh boy, what a difference there is. I'm chompin at the bit to hear the sound byte. Is is any louder do you think?
We had the Firebird in the muffler shop this weekend to finish off the exhaust. Had to get the pipes bentover the rear end and out behind the tires since we were running just downtubes out of the Flowmasters. Glad we didn't have to do it, what a job. Anyway they said that the Magnaflows would sound good on the Monte. So I think that's the way I'll go too.
