I've gotta pretty stock 2003 monte and was just wondering what to get. Some of my buddies have said flowmaster, magnaflow, or glasspacks. Just thought I would ask some guys or girls who know a little more

It depends on how much money you want to spend. I have the Dynomax catback on my 03 and it has a nice tone and I love the chrome tips. But seeing that you are from IL you might want to go with a stainless systems like my SLP that I have on my 05. I think I got that system just over $500 shipped. I think my Dynomax system cost just over $400 shipped. I did spray that system with high heat exhaust paint so it wouldn't rust out.

ya it all depends on personal taste. Are you looking for something really loud? Also have you made any other performance mods to your car?

I have the GMPP/Magnaflow cat back exhaust. Nice rumble at idle, not loud till you get on it. Cost me $500. I like it.

x2 on the GMPP, and it's a great DIY exhaust.

Do you want performance though? Or just sound? Because a cat-back isn't going to help your performance at all (just want to make sure you realize that)

I recommend Magnaflow, I personally like their sound on a V6, they are good quality, and stainless steel. (the GMPP is made by Magnaflow).

As for the CAI, go with the Wizaired kit!

You're in IL, id go with a couple mufflers you like the sound of. Then get an off road DP. The DP is whats gonna get that sound you're looking for, aside from some smaller gains. The smell aint too bad either LOL>
