Default mods that work?

i was thinking of the 3.4 pushrod engine, and theres a number of things people can do to them. cold air, u bend delete, resonator delete, muffler, high flow cat, 180 stat, iat module thingies....

but do they really work? placebo affect? does the cold air intake huff and puff and just sound fast?

anyone with measureable results? 1/4mi times, mph, one of theose gtechs? post em!

are there rockers availible for the newer motors? i was thinking the rockers were only availible up to like a 95 or so motor.

and i was thinking that many of the mods likely do make the car faster. but how much? are gains so small on some mods that they just arent worth it?

one thing to keep in mind is some mods work better with other mods. for ex. doing a set of rockers and not moding the intake or exhaust.

i recomend the followingorder to do themods:
FWI, Ubend delete, resonator delete, muffler(s), Bored throtle body/Intake manifold, ported exhaust manifolds/headers,rockers/cam, modified computer pcm or computer tuner.

that should get you well down the road! if you want more? you'll have to do the research.but you'll have plenty of time to get all these mods... unless you have tons of money.. and in that case you might as well just do a turbo or L67 (3800 SC) swap!
