Hello there ladies and gents. i have flomaster series 40's on my 02 monte SS 3.8L. I like the sound she makes but i was wondering if magnaflow glasspack mufflers would sound better? and as far as the resonator, what should i do about it?

I think you should go with Magnaflows, Flowmasters tend to be raspy..

You should go and listen to exhaust clips on eBay, I would keep the resonator or go shorter, although people have stated that you don't get rasp without a resonator on the 3800, I've heard otherwise :p

 

Just replace the resonator with a magnaflow glass pack and youll have my exact setup! I recommend it too i LOVE it

 

Do you have a soundclip/ video of how yours sounds so i can get a idea? and so your saying glass pack resonator AND glass pack muffler?

 

No keep the flowmasters on there and just replace the resonator with a magnaflow glass pack

At 0:32 I was at 4!! It was filmed on my phone so it isnt really this quiet in person. But believe me, theres no raspy sounds!!! All smooth
