Any reason why a couple of these little guys wouldn't work on my '01 LS?

well as far as i know an LS is a single outlet... so a couple will leave you an extra muffler unless you put a Y pipe on it.

You are correct, sir. The LS only has a single outlet. My plan is to convert to dual outlet usinga y-pipe, then leading into the two mufflers.

I guess I'll go ahead and pull the trigger since no one has any opinions.

They are 2.5 inches. Is the LS that size?

If not, do you have to install an adapter, reducer, increaser?

Dave, I believe you would be right. I've stepped down to a 2.25" inlet and went with the Dynomax ST. Duane has spoken so highly of them and peer pressure is a mother...

Good info, thanks all!

I want to give "Carlita" a Christmas gift.

I have 40k miles on the stock wheels and they look like they could go another 10k but I wouldn't trust them in the heavy rain. (Like we get any)

Or give her a couple of mufflers.....????

I say some mufflers, I love my Flowmaster personality. But other's like Dynomax, Borla, Magnaflow. I'm going over to Magnaflow Cat-Back this summer. But if you just going with mufflers go with 2.25" Flowmaster, offset in, center out
