Yeah the pipes I can keep, do you have links to any of those things? I like stainless steel too.
Go to Jegs.com or summitracing.com and look under the muffler section- there are gobs of mufflers and tips to choose from depending what you want to spend and how loud you want it.

If you don't have to get inspected yearly in your state, you can just drill a few holes in your stock muffler with a good drill
The bad thing about doing that is small holes tend to make more of a 'whooshing' sound (more like a low tone whistle) due to the amount of escaping exhaust gasses. Personally, I'd rather weld on some cheap cherry bombs than try and drill out the muffler.

we have emission test in illinois. i passed with no cat-converter
x2- I got my old GTP through with no converter or EGR and an occasional EVAP code. Around here all they do is plug into the OBD2 port- so as long as your pcm is happy, they don't think twice about it.

Oh wait - I have an 05 - I probably wouldn't have gotten away with that and my PCM would have thrown a code. Oh well.

If there is a pcm tuning setup out there for your pcm you can disable it.

I know with my 07 GP, HP Tuners can do it.

Hmm, then why is my Taurus failing the emissions!!! Lol
