I used cardboard and tape first to make a pattern , than made the box ...Hope this helps...

WOW;;;;really like way this looks..you should build and sell them to members on here that don't have the skill to fabicate or just don't have the time to..i'd be interested in maybe buying one myself;;my paint booth and building hotrods don't give me the extra time to build one...does it help on MPG?what else should be done with the CAI to help with performance and MPG?

Im debating doing the same on mine. Where did you get the pieces from? Ive checked local auto parts stores, and all i can find is cheap (really cheap) plastic tubes.
Then Im confused on whether or not i should do a cone filter w/heat shield or figure out another route.

Hi i am looking at 2 different cai one by z z performance that one is the wizard but looking at it were does the flow senser go in the box ? now the other one is on a site which is lmp performance which is a box like the wizard but you use the same tube one is insulated and one is not but the wizard is a bit cheaper like some imput . An K&N suck .There must be some others out there
