Default Little intake question

Hey all. Ive been a reader of the forums for atleast a year now, thx for all the great info/advice btw. I recently bought and installed a MSP intake for my 02 monte ss. I was just wondering if you guys were experiencing the sameloud sucking noise at startup w/ your intakes or if i just installed this incorrectly. Was just unsure if this was normal or not. Any advice/help would be great. Thank you in advance

I recently installed a K&N CAI in my 2000 Monte Carlo. The sucking noice is very noticeble when the car is cold, but after warm up it's not loud at all. Here is a small video of my system.

This is a dual Magnaflow exhaust system. I had the U-Bend and the Resonator removed and replaced with a straight pipe. I like the sound and I am very happy. Highly recommend doing this change to anyone.

Thanks a lot for the input guys. The noise isnt nearly as noticeable after the car heats up. I'm very happy with the intake if anyone else has looked into this one. Nice clean look when installed and a noticeable boost in acceleration.
As for a look of it installed here's a pic from the install guide.

I agree with Wiz on the sound, I love it every time the car starts up and does that. It really intimidates some drivers when they call you to race.
