Got my K&N intake system in at Pep Boys today and installed it in they're parking lot. I am so happy with it so far but since installing it I have been having some issues. My traction system has been shutting off within seconds of starting the car and the ABS light comes on as well. Has anyone else had this issue and know how to correct it? when i moved the PCM the rubber pieces that were around the plug in's came off...don't know if those are really important so I held onto them just in case.

I believe those rubber strips were there to keep a nice seal on the connections of a very important electrical component on your car, I would definitely put them back on. They weren't too hard to fiddle with. Mine came off also when doing my K&N, I just stretched it all around the PCM not on the plug-in parts.

The TRAC/ABS light... I wonder if it's just a freak coincidence and you are having trouble with a hub assembly.

When you first start your car, it runs a quick diagnostic that's why those lights pop on.

 

thanks...ill put them back on when i get away from my house...pops just flipped cuz i bought subs...imagine if he knew i added more HP lol...cant wait to move out...im 23 and get treated like im 13...then i could put all my extra cash into upgrades
