Hey everyone,

I've been doing a lot of research the last few days on unlocking the potential of my 06 Monte SS, and I've heard a lot about LS1 parts swaps. I've been looking at intake manifolds and throttle bodies, and was wondering what brand would work best with my car. How much gain would I expect to see, and what problems might I run into with the parts. Also, if anyone knows, what engine parts are able to be swapped out with the other LS motors for more power? There are lots of shiny parts out there that would look a lot better then that black plastic engine cover....

well if you have the LS4 any heads and intake offered for any LS series motor will work. but you may end up with some hood clearance problems.as alot of the intakes are taller.
theres a post on one of the ls forums of a guy that swaped out the heads intake and cam.(took off the vvt) and replace with ported LS6 stuff and made good power.
