Hi, I'm going to install Hooker comp headers (not super comp) on my 355c.i. 83 Monte. If anybody has bought a recent set of these, were there any issues with plug wire clearance? I took the engine out of a 81 El Camino and the unknown brand of headers that were on it did. Thanks.

 

I have flow techs, with no problems, but I think you can specify straight, or angled plugs when ordering headers. Good luck

 

Hi, are they full length, ceramic coated w/ 1 5/8" primaries. And with the Hookers they don't ask if you have straight or angled plugs. Thanks.

These will NOT fit angle plugs. gotta watch out what you buy. I know these are for an earlier Monte, just using it as an example. Maybe G-Bodys are different. Don't know why they would be, they all bolt to the block the same way. Just make sure to ask before laying down the cheese!
