1995 Monte Carlo Z34
Looking for HP gains and MPG increase..
What can I add/do to make this happen?
Intake/Headers/Exhaust??? Anything?
Are there any that will fit my car or do they all have to be custom??

 

I hate to say it, but you probably have one of the most difficult setups to mod. First off, you've got the obd 1/1.5 pcm setup; secondly you've got the 3.4 dohc which has been out of production for 10 years (and didn't have a huge performance following when it was out anyways).

There are some parts out there for it, but if you're wanting to do anything besides the basics- its gonna be mostly custom stuff.

 

So what exactly can I do that would be considered "Basic" and will increase Performance??

 

Intake/exhaust/pcm tuning (dunno if anyone even does your pcm though due to it not being obd2).

 

Can somebody suggest any combinations or parts?
I want either a Magnaflow or Flowmaster based set-up..
My Car is a 1995 Monte Carlo Z34..
I want my exhaust to increase performance and sound nice and deep..

performance it wont do much without new headers and a downpipe (and idk how much that will really do)...as for sound go to youtube and type in ur engine with ur desired mufflers

 

I don't think they even make headers for a 3.4 dohc in a 5th gen do they?

They sell ceramic coated headers, ported and polished intake manifold, 180* thermostat. You can make a fender well intake. Member z34phoenix has a nice write up on his web page of how to make one. He also has some other performance write ups.
