Headers or no????
How are those Thorley Headers in comparison to ZZPs or some remnant TOGs I see for sale from some 3800 vendors?

I mean, he's got a CAI so he's getting more/cooler air in, bypassed the first part of the exhaust system up until this point (no headers) and then has an upgraded exhaust system. Also might want to get a hi flow cat converter too cause the stock one is quite the bottleneck too!
I said the headers were the bottleneck of his intake/exhaust system

for what your going to spend on the headers i think youd be better off working on an ls1 or ls6 intake and a downpipe and tune. i think the car would make a hell of alot more power with that than it would with headers and a tune. your going to want a tune after the headers regardless.

I'm not sure, but you're the second guy to talk about a swap so maybe the OP should look into that as well.
He doesn't have a CAI or exhaust from the way I read it- I thought he was thinking about getting them- and his buddy told him not to bother without headers- which is wrong IMO.
You really think so? Haven't people been seeing better gains from intake manifold swaps for less money? IMO, I really think the factory intake- particularly the D shape neckdown behind the TB is the largest restriction from the factory.
