Headers for a 4.3L
Well i just bought an 86 monte carlo with the 4.3L and i going to build it from top to bottem converting it to carb (is possible). 305s ar way too over used in my opinion so i decided to stick with the 4.3L. Now my question is, is who makes headers for the 4.3L i have checked the usually place such as edelbroke and heddman coming up with no luck. I would like to be able to get long tubes. Any info would be greatly apreciated

RE: Headers for a 4.3L
the setup they ran was pretty much right down to the teeth of the part i got sitting in my shop. there cam setup was a little bit more aggressive with over .500" of lift. The setup i will be running is Duration 268/ 268, Lift .454/ .454. I should be up in the 250 horse range N/A. I have plans for that vortec supercharger *** well down the road. that should push me well into the 400's. All i have to do now is wait for some warmer weather and really tear into it. It sucks not having a garage.
I question i do have, though its not an exaust question but i cant find a fuel pump for the damn thing taht i know for sure will work. Im assuming i a can a mechanical fuel pump from a v8 any ideas??

Its going to be for sunny days only. i have a truck for the rest of the weather. its going to be carbuerted and i didn't think they made an electric that would wrok its gonna be like 6-8 psi. i'll have to look into it more. im sure it would work cuz it just has a block off plate on the side of the block now so i would assume it would work
