milzymotorsports.com needs at least 10 people that have the 3500 monty carlos to send them messeges on the down pipes and headers. they wont make them till they get a demand for them i just want to let every one know they will make them for our monty carlos if there is a demand for them. plase i sorta beg every one who has the 6th gen that has the 3500 and the 7th gen get in tutch with them on makeing the headers and down pipes. they said they will make the headers for around 280 give or take for the first batch and will be more affordible to us with the 3500 monty carlos and they also said in the email to me they need more demand for a pcm tune as well and things for the 3500 set up. so get in tuch with them and demand the headers and down pipes. i am getting ready to send them a down pipe off of a monty i found in a salvage yard that has the 3500 motor im it so they can use it to make the down pipes. so blow them up about the headers and down pipes. they need to hear the demand from every one not just one person wich is me

I dont know how everyone else will go for this. Not many with a 3500 bought it for performance, But dont be impatient, youve only had this posted for a day.

 

they said they can make them for the 3500 monty carlo and the 3900 monty carlo they said they did not see any demand for my engine type as well for the 3900. they need ten or more people demanding for the two types of headers then they will make them the told me they dont want to be stuck with some thing that might not sell. for our two types of motors. i am going to the salvege yard to find a 3500 monty and a 3900 monty and send them the headers and down pipes. i told them if you make them and show that you do people will buy the headers and down pipes for the two engine classes. sorry if it is long they told me they needed some thing to go by for the down pipe and go off of the manifolds to acuretly make the headers for them both. i am going to see if they will accept the old headers and down pipe from a donor car so they will know what to do and go from there.

 

i am very impresed on how pepy athis gas sipper monty carlo of mine is it has great pick up but under rated do to lack of headers. i found the exaughst that i want got cold air intake i just want the headers for the car. remember a engin is a big air pump faster it inhales and exhales the better it runs i noticed that with my truck with the intake headers and full exaughst it got better gas milege out of a ls1 with a better acceleration same way with the mustang with the mod motor

 

Only 2006-2007 Montes have that engine. So the 6th Gens can't speak up for you.

And honestly some people still have their warranties, you don't see much for modifications until warranties run out

 

Are you sure he didn't say he needs 10 people to put up money first? It just sounds kindof odd to have 10 people send him a message saying they want something- heck 1 person could easily go get 10 email addresses and do that.

That sounds insanely cheap for some reason- even the bargain basement 3800 headers aren't that cheap- and those are rip offs of an existing design and made in china.

I'd ask for all the details first- how does it connect to the stock cat/exhaust, primary/crossover/outlet sizes, material, coatings.


If you really want to get these made, the easiest thing to do would be to get all of the info above together, and start a 'group buy'- get the exact pricing worked out and a timeframe with whatever company you go with, and then get a list of people together that are willing to put money down up front, collect the money, and then wait for the product.

 

I'm surprised that the headers off of the 3400 wouldn't work on the 3500. Aren't they basically the same engine?

 

no they arnt the 3400 i believe arent a vvt type of motor and it was a type of estimet he gave me for them i believe they will do it but it looks like a futal endever
