Headers
I have a couple questions about headers. First is what kind do you all have? Second is if you did them yourself did you have to drop the engine to change them because of Monte's being FWD? Third if you took it to a shop to be done how much did it cost with the price of the headers added?

I have Speed Daddy's that I will be installing on Tuesday, finally. I've had them laying around for about two month's now. I would imagine that a shop's rates would be extremely high. A friend put the same headers on his Grand Prix and it took about twelve hours. I'm sure a shop would be faster but at anywhere from 50-80 dollars an hour (just a guess) it would add up fast. I'll give an update on how it went hopefully Tuesday night.

I had a set of Speed daddy Headers ..
They are not to hard to install if you can turn a wrench..
I had to lower the rear cradle to install rear header..

Finally got them installed! Install wasn't too bad at all just turning a wrench like zjerry said. It was a lot harder than the SLP exhaust system but that's just my opinion. If you install these make sure you use plenty of rtv and I recommend getting different clamps. I went with napa easyseal band clamps I think it was around $50 for 2 2.25" and 2 3" bringing the total cost to around $275. Definately a great mod, lost some low end torque but the sound was much deeper especially with the cat back system. I would also have a spare vehicle lined up if possible just incase you can't get it done right away. I'm no mechanic but my friend had already installed them on his grand prix so it went pretty smoothly with his help. You will also need front and rear egr block off plates from zzp if you want to remove the egr and also an o2 extension from zzp. If you do plan on doing headers and have any questions or want to see some pics just let me know.
