ok so no one officially makes any headers for the ls4 one of the guys on my other forum has contacted doug thorley headers i believe and they have agree to fab them if we can get 30 people in on it. im down and a few others are in. i figured i would post this for anyone that has an ls4 monte and isnt a member of ls1tech. as of today the price was said to be 560-600. for more info here is the link.

I've been reading that thread, it should be interesting.

 

as of today they have agreed to produce them if we get 20 which we do have. they have also added a phone number on the forum. any other ss owners take a look.

I just hope they intend to make it a regular production item because I have no intention on getting in on another header pre-buy (anyone remember the DPP fiasco, lol).

 

the car thats being used for the mock up is going this week. i believe that this will work out. i think after this im going to try and swap to an ls6 intake.

 

hope this works out for you SS guys! i've always regretted not getting one. then again, if i did have one, i would probably be broke, haha. if headers become available as well as a better intake (like the ls6 intake as TheMonteMan mentioned, cuz those ls4 intakes are horribly restrictive!!) those ls4s are gonna be real pavement pounders!

Well then, Mike, play with your own SS and make it faster than his! Then maybe he'll have to start on his own so his son isn't beating him. It just makes sense! lol

I too hope these are available after the first 20 are done. I can't do it now, but would love to in the future.

LS1 powered-car is next. That should grab his attention.
