I know they do. I had Flowmaster catback on my 96 Firebird with the 3.8 and it sound pretty damn goodand had a buddy that had a 3.4 Camaro with the same kit and there was just something about his that made it sound better. I will let you guys knowin about a monthwhat Dynomax Catback with high flow-cat sounds like on a 3.4. That is what my g/f isgetting on herMonte Carlo.

 

See the 3.4 you guys are talking about is different than mine. I have the LQ1 3.4 DOHC. It has virtually no lope to it whatsoever so it wont sound as good as a single cam 3.4 or3.8 will.
