Guess who got the last new system on the planet today for $500 delivered?

I hope this system sounds as good as you all claim or there will be a barely used kit available for sale soon...

You don't have much backpressure from the cat-back, so no real low end torque loss.

Long story short. I had my Chevy parts guy do a locate on it. He found the last available system at a GM parts distributor in Atlanta. So I had him get it for me.

Good job. I wish I had started looking at getting an exhaust system earlier as this is the one I would have probably gotten.

The Borla system in the for sale section looks like a nice setup but its still pretty expensive and I wasn't impressed with the youtube videos of the sound. Barely louder than stock.

Tell us what you think when you get it.

Oh I will trust me. I have the resonator delete with large downpipe and no cat and it sounds horrible.

I did call Summit today and they are out of stock of this system. I also did call another supplier and they said that there was only one left in the country but when he told me where it was at, I knew it was the one SSmokybear had just got. The guy called and it was in fact gone. I guess I made a decision too late to get this system.

I will probably call Magnaflow and see what mufflers they recommend for my car and just have the mufflers replaced.

I don't see why at this point when the kit is no longer available from GM, that Magnaflow shouldn't have this in their line up.

I went to their website yesterday and put in my vehicle for the exhaust systems and nothing came up. I think the 06 and 07 were the only thing they had for Monte's. I don't know if that one could be adapted to our cars or not.

Magnaflow made this exhaust for GMPP, perhaps GM owned the rights to it somehow?
