My buddies at work said borla is closet to having glass packs and being loud, My buddyordered the borla exhaust for his srt8 jeep and he said it actually came with the glass packs, I don't know if this is true for all borla exhaust sytems, but cantact borla and ask them, they may be able to give you a custom exhuast with glass packs if it doesnt already come with the glass packs, just a thought

It would be a pleasure to record a sound clip for you guys! ha....I know it would help alot of people in deciding on mufflers....well i checked local places....and they dont have the 12 inch or the 18 inch size that i was looking for...anyone know the difference in sound between a short and long glasspack? anywho...im gonna buy them tonight just not sure which size...

misunderstanding. I meant the stock muffler...its 17 inches long so a 12 inch glass pack means adding pipe.

so does this mean your going with borla? or what brand are you going with for a muffler, just curious?

Im gonna try the cherry bombs for now..i went ahead and bought a pair of 12 inch glasspacks..67 bucks for the pair including shipping...they shouldnt be crazy loud because the rest of the exhaust is stock including the res and cat...ill post a sound clip sometime next week when they come in and they are installed.

I'm very excited to hear this setup. Thanks for going a different route. That's why I went with Summit mufflers, just to be different. And be a cheap skate! lol

o my bad hope the 12 in works for ya i personially woulda went with the 18 in give ya lil longer tube and wouldn't have to add pipe just take a little off but that IMO so you trowing any crome tips on it of just leaving the red?
